Steamed bao bun filled with satay chicken, fresh herbs and house sauce. (1 piece)
Steamed bao bun, marinated satay chicken pieces, cucumber spear, pickled carrot, fresh coriander, sliced red chilli, rich peanut satay house sauce.
Satay chicken showcases Southeast Asia’s wonderful history of culinary cross-pollination, blending aromatic spices and peanut sauces into regional street food menus. Nestling this fragrant, deeply seasoned chicken inside a fluffy, cloud-like folded bao bun delivers a vibrant and interactive fusion bite.
Contains peanuts (satay sauce), gluten (wheat bun, soy sauce), and soy. May contain traces of fish sauce and sesame. Prepared in a kitchen that also handles shellfish, egg, and dairy.
Best consumed immediately while the bun is freshly steamed and soft. For short-term storage, disassemble components and keep in separate airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
If refrigerated, separate the fresh cucumber, coriander, and pickled carrot from the bun and satay chicken before reheating.
Warm the satay chicken thoroughly in a pan or microwave until piping hot. Restore the bao bun's soft texture by steaming for 1-2 minutes, or wrap in a damp paper towel and microwave for 15 seconds.
Place the hot satay chicken inside the warmed bun, drizzle generously with the house peanut satay sauce, and layer with fresh cucumber, pickled carrot, coriander, and chilli slices.
