Classic wok-fried rice with tender chicken, egg, peas, carrot and crispy shallots
Steamed jasmine rice, tender sliced chicken breast pieces, scrambled hen eggs, sweet green peas, finely diced carrots, minced garlic, aromatic crispy fried shallots, light soy sauce, traditional fish sauce, vegetable cooking oil.
Chicken fried rice (cơm chiên gà) is a globally beloved comfort food classic steeped in traditional Asian wok-cooking heritage. Born out of a practical technique to refresh leftover rice, this standard version features succulent seasoned chicken pieces quickly flash-fried at extremely high heat with eggs and aromatic garden vegetables to create a harmoniously fluffy, multi-textured satisfying meal.
Contains gluten and soy (soy sauce seasoning), and egg (scrambled hen eggs). Prepared in a commercial kitchen environment that also handles peanuts, sesame, dairy, fish, and crustacea.
Best enjoyed immediately while steaming hot and fluffily tender. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours.
If storing leftovers, let the dish cool completely before closing the container lid to prevent trapped condensation from softening the rice grains.
To reheat effectively and restore the individual grain textures, toss the fried rice continuously in a preheated non-stick skillet or wok over high heat for 3 to 4 minutes until thoroughly heated.
Serve piping hot on a flat plate. Topped generously with a handful of golden fried shallots and accompanied by fresh sliced red chillies in soy sauce for custom seasoning.
